I met with Jenna and Corey a few months ago, and we instantly hit it off with our similar taste in wedding style and my understanding of a long distance relationship!! So much so that we ended up spending probably 2 hours chatting at Starbucks about all the things that life brings! haha!
When they told me about their destination wedding, I was ECSTATIC! I absolutely love the idea of destination weddings and my husband and I almost did the same- we love it so much that we are actually planning our 10 year vow renewal this fall as a destination renewal! As Jenna told me about the details, I was enthusiastically nodding my head because it sounds so amazing!!! It is super fun to watch the dynamic that Corey and Jenna have.. he’s a huge goofball and it makes Jenna light up and giggle so much. And in return, she is that balance that grounds them and supports them – it really is a perfect yin and yang bringing out the best in them both!
Their wedding is next May, 2020 so we knew we needed to have a Big Bang of an engagement session so it was a 2 day event for the ages! We started off in beautiful Point Clear, Alabama at The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection which was freaking AHMAZING!!! The grounds are gorgeous and filled with the beautiful mossy oak trees, a marina, covered bridge and on the gorgeous ocean.. I mean, you cannot go wrong! We started off in the room with a bit of champagne (because of course that’s how you get the nerves out! haha) and some amazing window light and lots and lots of laughs! We then tromped around the grounds and even took a couple of golf cart rides, it was easy to see why they chose this location and it felt like a dreamy resort out of Paradise!
Part two took place in nature with a little canoe ride and then a stroll down the beach.. we were loving the canoe area so much that when we got to the beach we had to sprint down to the available sunlight! After I caught my breath, we got some MAGIC! At one point (the image with Corey’s point of view on Jenna’s face down below) Corey began telling Jenna about how excited he was to marry her and how he’s loved her for so long, how gorgeous she was and it was the SWEETEST moment ever! It truly is an honor to see these moments and capture the emotions.. I’m a lucky duck! So anyway, enough of me rambling.. check out some of their fun two-day engagement session below!!
